Sakal Jain Samaj’ protests against Jharkhand govt to make Sammed Shikharji tourist spot
कोल्हापुर, 03 जनवरी : महाराष्ट्र में कोल्हापुर जिला के सकल जैन समाज (एसजेएम) ने झारखंड राज्य सरकार द्वारा ‘सम्मद शिखरजी’ पर्यटक का दर्जा देने के फैसले पर एतराज जताया है और इसके विरोध में मंगलवार को अपराह्न में ऐतिहासिक दशहरा चौक से विशाल ‘मौन ‘ जुलूस निकाला।
प्रदर्शनकारियों का कहना है कि झारखंड सरकार के फैसले ने ‘सम्मद शिखरजी की पवित्रता को खतरे में डाल दिया है।
Kolhapur, Jan 3 (UNI) ‘Sakal Jain Samaj’ (SJM)of the district Tuesday took out a huge ”Muk” (silent) morcha from historic Dasara Chowk Tuesday afternoon, to protest against Jharkhand state government’s decision to give status of tourist destination to ‘Sammed Shikharji’, which will lead it’s holiness to be endangered.
‘परमपूज्य स्वास्थश्री लक्ष्मी भट्टिवाले पट्टाचार्य महास्वामी’ और परमपूज्य जिनसेन महास्वामी’ के नेतृत्व में आयोजित मौन जुलूस में जिले के सभी हिस्सों से हजारों की संख्या में जैन समुदाय के लोग ऐतिहासिक दशहरा चौक पर एकत्रित हुए और जिला कलेक्टर के समक्ष अपना ‘महामुख मोर्चा’ शुरू किया।
Thousands of Jain community people from all parts of the district, who gathered in historic Dasara Chowk in the leadership of ‘Parampujya Swasthishree Laxmi Bhattivale Pattacharya Mahaswami’ and Parampujya Jinsen Mahaswami’ and began their ‘Maha Mukh morcha’ to the district collector.
एसजेएम ने एक प्रेस बयान में कहा, “सम्मद शिखरजी’ को पर्यटन स्थल का दर्जा देने से जैन समुदाय की भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंची है। सम्मेद शिखरजी, जैन समुदाय का पवित्र स्थान होने के कारण इसकी पवित्रता खतरे में है, जहाँ जैन लोग कुल 28 किमी पैदल चलकर जाते हैं, जबकि 24 में से 20 तीर्थकार इस पवित्र स्थान से होकर मोक्ष मार्ग पर गए थे।
SJM said in a press statement, giving tourist destination status to ‘Sammed Shikharji’ has hurt feelings of Jain community. Since ‘Sammed Shikharji’, a holy place for Jain community, it’s holiness is endangered, where Jain people go on feet total 28 Km distance while 20 ‘Tirthkar’ out of 24, had gone for salvation path through this holy place (Sammed Shikharji), on this ground.
उन्होंने कहा कि झारखंड सरकार को चाहिए कि वह जैन समुदाय के इस पवित्र स्थान (जो जैन समुदाय की मोक्ष भूमि का सर्वोच्च स्थान है) को पर्यटन स्थल का दर्जा देने के बजाय ‘सम्मद शिखरजी’ को तीर्थस्थल घोषित करे।
Jharkhand government should announce ‘Sammed Shikharji’ as a place of pilgrimage instead of giving tourist destination status to this holy place of Jain community, which the highest place of Moksha Bhumi’ (salvation land) of Jain community.
जुलूस के ताराबाई पार्क क्षेत्र में जिला कलेक्टर कार्यालय पहुंचने के बाद एसजेएम प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने जिला कलेक्टर से मुलाकात कर अपनी मांगों का ज्ञापन सौंपा।
After morcha reached district collector office in Tarabai Park area, SJM delegation met district collector and handed over a memorandum of their demands.
